The Middle School and Upper School Dancers have submitted a video for National Dance Week and we need your votes! Please visit http://www.nationaldanceweek.org/dance-mob/videos/ and vote for both the upper school and middle school videos. Voting begins on Monday, May 11th. There are schools and dance studios from all over that submitted videos and it would be awesome if Cannon School received the most votes. We are asking for the support of the entire community to put the Cannon School Dance Department at the top of the leader board! Voting ends on May 23rd.
The Cabarrus County Youth Commission is looking for two representatives from your school to help us bring awareness to Cabarrus
County Government and local issues. The Council meets twice monthly during the school year, once on a group field trip and the other for a business meeting at the Cooperative Extension Office in Concord. This group is a collaboration between the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners and Cabarrus County 4-H promoting the importance of civic engagement and education as well as giving youth hands on experience within the working of local government. If you have youth that you think would be interested in serving a two year term with us, please guide them to the following links:
