During service day, Luke Letica noticed that the Habitat for Humanity change boxes were built wrong and taught us how to fix them, and then worked until all of the boxes had been fixed! Way to show team work, Luke!!

If you are good with numbers, love making new friends, have a passion for service, tutoring, or having fun….seek out your House Leaders and ask about the application process. After the JDRF Walk this Friday,all high school advisories will have the chance to compete in a treasure hunt. Five Giant eggs will be hidden all over the Cannon’s campus and hints will given to each advisory team as to where each egg is located. Five different prizes will be offered to the winners: $100 cash, a pizza/ Panera party, a dress down day and ice cream social. Email email@example.com with your advisory team members. AP students – AP Preadministration sessions will be taking place in Foundation Hall on April 8, 9 & 10. Students taking AP exams in May must plan to attend one of these sessions. Please bring with a you a #2 pencil. If you have any questions contact Ms Mee or Mr Segura.

The GSA’s service project is Friday, April 17, the Day of Silence, a day organized to honor those who have been silenced by bullying
for their gender identity or sexual orientation (you can learn more at http://www.dayofsilence.org/). All participants (that means you guys) stay silent for an entire day to bring awareness to this, while wearing the awesome t-shirts provided by the GSA! If you buy this year’s shirt, your money will go towards an awesome organization called the Trevor Project that specifically helps LGBT+ teens.
To order a shirt, click this link: https://www.customink.com/g/hkv0-009f-jmvr. You need to put in your name and your shirt size so that we know what to order. If you’re going to order a shirt, you need to put in your information by noon on Friday, April 3. You’ll need to pay for the shirt anywhere from Monday the 13 to Friday the 17. I’ll be set up outside Foundation Hall each day during lunch to collect money; right now the shirts will be sold for $13.
