for their gender identity or sexual orientation (you can learn more at http://www.dayofsilence.org/). All participants (that means you guys) stay silent for an entire day to bring awareness to this, while wearing the awesome t-shirts provided by the GSA! If you buy this year’s shirt, your money will go towards an awesome organization called the Trevor Project that specifically helps LGBT+ teens.

To order a shirt, click this link: https://www.customink.com/g/hkv0-009f-jmvr. You need to put in your name and your shirt size so that we know what to order. If you’re going to order a shirt, you need to put in your information by noon on Friday, April 3. You’ll need to pay for the shirt anywhere from Monday the 13 to Friday the 17. I’ll be set up outside Foundation Hall each day during lunch to collect money; right now the shirts will be sold for $13.

Lost and Found items are in the front hall. Please come and retrieve your belongings as they will be donated at the end of the week.

* Although T1D is a serious and difficult disease, treatment options are improving all the time, and people with T1D can lead full and active lives. JDRF is driving research to progressively remove the impact of the disease from people’s lives until we ultimately achieve a world without T1D.

There is lots for us to know! If you have something that you would like to share with the Cannon Upper school community, please email the information to Sramsey@cannonschool.org. All information must be received by 3pm
