The GSA’s service project is Friday, April 17, the Day of Silence, a day organized to honor those who have been silenced by bullying
for their gender identity or sexual orientation (you can learn more at http://www.dayofsilence.org/). All participants (that means you guys) stay silent for an entire day to bring awareness to this, while wearing the awesome t-shirts provided by the GSA! If you buy this year’s shirt, your money will go towards an awesome organization called the Trevor Project that specifically helps LGBT+ teens.
To order a shirt, click this link: https://www.customink.com/g/hkv0-009f-jmvr. You need to put in your name and your shirt size so that we know what to order. If you’re going to order a shirt, you need to put in your information by noon on Friday, April 3. You’ll need to pay for the shirt anywhere from Monday the 13 to Friday the 17. I’ll be set up outside Foundation Hall each day during lunch to collect money; right now the shirts will be sold for $13.
