Service Opportunity: Wings of Eagles Ranch in Concord, I am needing you to pass information onto students needing community service hours or just wanting to do volunteer work. We offer therapeutic horseback riding to the special needs community. We have sessions starting the week of March 16th and most class times are after school hours. We are completely volunteer driven and have had many students faithfully serve at the Ranch. Our program is growing and we are in need of more volunteers.
Our requirements are to be 14years or older and attend a mandatory training, Our session times go for 8 weeks and are Tuesday and Thursday’s from a 3:00 class to the last class at 6:00. Each class is one hour. Students can sign up for hours that work for them.
We are holding a mandatory volunteer training this Saturday, March 7th from 9:00-12:00. (This is for all new volunteers) We would love to see your students represent your school and earn community service hours. We find that the students love to come and help in this very rewarding work. You can learn more about us at www.wingsofeaglesranch.org .
