Winterm, the week-long intensive course offering in which all Upper School students participated, was deemed an enormous success.

Students sewed blankets and burp cloths that were donated to the Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital and the Cabarrus Women’s Center

With over forty course offerings taught by faculty and staff, Upper School students had the opportunity to explore their passions and interests in a setting that promoted engagement and risk-taking. As a result, there was a great deal of community building, and students now enter the second term with a newly-infused energy.

Just a few of the offerings…

  • Sea Island Habitat for Humanity trip
  • Woodworking and Set Construction
  • Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness
  • Northeast College Tour
  • Digital Painting
  • Italy through Art and Architecture
  • Food! Tour
  • Sewing for a Lifetime
Students in the Food! Winterm created cakes, which the Basics of Cake Decorating class frosted. The cakes were then donated to Angels and Sparrows so the less fortunate could have a birthday cake
