JUNIORS: On Tuesday, during your primary English drop block (i.e. not your elective English), you should report to the college counseling room for a college planning meeting. We will share much of the information that your parents received at Monday night’s parent meeting.
Fall 2014 Driver Education Program
This year, Cannon will offer the driver education program during the fall semester only. Classes, which will be taught by a Cabarrus County Schools employee, will be held in Foundation Hall (the November 3rd and November 19th classes will be held in the US Library Annex) from 3:00 p.m. to 5:25 p.m. on the following dates:
- November 3-6
- November 10-13
- November 17-20
- November 24-25 (make-up days)
Students must be fifteen years of age on or before June 10, 2015 to be eligible to register. To complete the class, students must have thirty hours of class time and six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.
After the class portion is complete, the instructor, Mr. Thomason, will coordinate with individual students to complete the behind-the-wheel requirements during their drop periods or before school.
The $55 fee must be paid in the form of a check made out to Cabarrus County Schools.
Prep for SAT Test: Cannon will offer the Princeton Review SAT Workshop twice during the school year: Fall (10/18-11/20) and Winter (1/31-3/7). The
cost of $450 includes all materials, scored pre and post-tests, and 18 hours of instruction. For details on meeting dates and times and for online
