Join Us for a Focus Group Discussion

September 26, 2013

A growth mindset is the constant companion of an adaptive expert, and Cannon’s administration, faculty, and Board will hit the ground running this fall on important initiatives to answer the question, “How can we do better for our students?”

Two faculty committees will apply this question to our educational program. Specifically, they will examine how we can ensure that our curriculum gives us the greatest opportunity to develop adaptive expertise in every student, and how we can ensure that our teaching practices encourage students to be adaptive experts.

In addition, our administration, faculty, and Board will begin the process of renewing our strategic plan, and we need your input.

Our first of five focus group discussions for current parents will take place next week on Wednesday, October 2, from 8:15 a.m.-9:30 a.m. in Foundation Hall. If you are unable to make it to next week’s event, we hope you will join us for one of the remaining dates:

  • Tuesday, October 29, 8:15 a.m.-9:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, November 14, 7:00 p.m.-8:15 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 21, 7:00 p.m.-8:15 p.m.
  • Monday, December 2, 7:00 p.m.-8:15 p.m.

R.S.V.P. to one of these group discussions where parents will have the opportunity to hear updates from our faculty, learn about our five-year financial model, and share input as we chart the future of Cannon School.

Please bring an iPad, tablet, laptop, or smartphone to participate in an electronic survey.
